David E. Rehe, Esquire

David E. Rehe, Esquire has been a practicing trial lawyer law for 40 years, licensed in both New Jersey and New York.   Mr. Rehe graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and then continued to Seton Hall University School of Law to earn his Juris Doctor.

Mr. Rehe began his legal career at a medium size high profile law firm where he became a partner. He practiced primarily in the areas of negligence defense litigation and plaintiff's personal injury litigation in the state and federal courts.  He represented both institutional and private clients in a wide array of matters including workers compensation, medical malpractice, architect and engineer malpractice, product liability, construction and environmental litigation, premises liability, and automobile negligence. While there, he had the opportunity to try many jury trials to successful conclusion.

This experience led to him being recruited by State Farm to establish a full-service litigation staff counsel office in New Jersey, which Dave founded and where he managed twenty trial attorneys. Recognized for his broad experience and professionalism, Dave has served the New Jersey Superior Court as a court appointed arbitrator since 1992.

More recently, Dave has concentrated his practice on plaintiff’s personal injury cases in the areas of automobile negligence, premises liability, wrongful death, product liability, and medical malpractice. At Weir Attorneys, Dave focuses on plaintiff’s personal injury cases including catastrophic injury and wrongful death. His goal is to work for the best outcome for his clients, so they receive full and fair compensation for their injuries.

A life-long resident of New Jersey, Dave grew up in Ridgewood and has resided in Branchburg for the last 26 years with his wife while raising four kids. He was elected to the Branchburg Township Board of Education where he served for nine years as a member and as board president, working to support educational opportunities for all students in the district. In his spare time, Dave enjoys time with his family, fitting in a round of golf and playing his guitars.
